Maybe I’m boring at this point, and you wish Vetements and everything Vetements like on the middle of your back (sorry, Hungarian phrase again), but I just can’t get enough of them. Especially when I finally – FINALLY!- found these jeans.
I just run over the pictures again, and I more convinced, than ever; I’m in love with them. Ok, maybe there’s something to do with the whole mood of these photos too. It was boiling hot that day in London, and my hubby convinced me to go with him to the City to meet with his colleagues. It was in the evening, it was still hot and the lights were superb. And well, London is London, you can’t argue with that.
Ok, probably wearing jeans is not the best option when it comes to 30+ degree weather, but I just had to wear them. Also because I wasn’t in the mood of shorts or dresses. And as you can see, these are a bit oversized, so ventilation was fine. 🙂
I love the two shades of blue, the fabric and fade of both of the original jeans, the uneven hems and the way they were put together. Basically everything, even though I wanna get taken an inch (or two) in from the waist, but I haven’t managed to find a good tailor thus far, so wearing them with belt was my only option.
I wore them with my old leopard printed tee by Mango, and I have to realise over and over again how much I like this top. Well, it wasn’t a coincidence, that I bought it years ago, but still, it’s never among my first choices. But at least this night it was a bit more interesting, for me as well. 🙂
Also, if distressed jeans, than nicer shoes are required. It’s an unwritten rule of mine. A pair with high heels would’ve been even better, but as a practical chicken as I am, I opted for these Chanel like sling backs. And they fared pretty well. Especially because it was the very first time, I was wearing them for a longer term. But I won’t lie, it was good to take them off, and they need more time to break in. Well, challenge is accepted.
Oh, and have you noticed the make up? Observe it carefully, because it’s not often you can see me like this. 🙂 But once in a while it’s nice to wear make up. Too bad I didn’t have enough time to make my nails too. Some black nail polish would’ve been nice, wouldn’t it?
Anyway, I’m more than pleased with the result, from my hair and make up, through the outfit, to the lights and place. What else is needed? Oh, and if you’re interested, the evening went pretty well too. Cheers for hubby’s colleagues from here too! 🙂
