Today’s street style star and inspiration source is Spanish freelance stylist and one of the main faces of Spanish Vogue, Barbara Martelo. She has a really nice, kinda minimalist, one part classic, one part edgy and a pinch of feminine style, which is just right up my alley. Not to mention her gorgeous dark brown hair, which can steal the show by itself.
Ok, she is impossibly skinny with impossibly long and lean legs, so most of the things are great for her, but lets focus on the styling here. She prefers neutrals, sometimes crazed them with some prints or vivid colors, skinny and blue jeans, sky-high heels or over-the-knee boots with a simple top and statement coat. Easy, yet stylish. The perfect example, that you can be the most stylish woman with an uniform or two.
I remember a few years ago (about 6, omg) she (and all of us) had a Christophe Decarnin for Balmain fever, with everything broad shoulders, small waistlines, the most skinniest and low rise jeans and ankle booties, but now I prefer her wearing those Vetements or Levi’s jeans with classic pumps and black blazer. Maybe she’s the only one who incorporated these jeans into her looks without compromising a bit her style. Which is admirable, isn’t it?
Do you like her style too?
