Still cool summer, still gloomy weather, so still comfy, simple basics. Today from our all the time grocery shopping place, the local Sainsbury’s, and you can’t deny, it has its atmosphere, doesn’t it? 🙂
This time the comfy basics include a parka, printed vintage tee, ripped skinny jeans and those new high top Converse.
Actually this is one of the easiest way to wear high top sneakers. With no fuss skinny jeans, like this TopShop Jamie ones, which frankly act like a second skin. And those rips make them even comfier. I also love this faded black color which is almost like dark charcoal grey. And I also adore the extra high waist and the excellent fit. What else do you need from a pair of skinnies if not these?
I’m also wearing this vintage tee a lot. I mean A lot. I love the thick material, the fit and the print which make it nothing but perfect. I was thinking about this, but still don’t see the hype about bodysuits. Probably it’s just my practical side, but I’m gonna always choose a tee over a bodysuit.
And this bag is an oldie but goodie. I think I’ll never ever get rid of it. It’s simple, but has that plus what I’m head over heels for and it has all the right details from the pockets, through the size, to the long strap. Yes, sometimes a more expensive piece is very well worth the price.
Parka – Mango, tee – vintage, skinnies – TopShop Jamie, bag – PS11, sneakers – Converse
Yet again, no Zara. I think I’m officially cured. Yeyy! 🙂 And I know, I know… this outfit is probably not the outfits’ non plus ultra but, hey, I’m just a human who needs exactly this sometimes. 🙂 Thoughts?
