Do you remember those times when we had only two fashion shows in a year? I do. I also know that Cruise and Pre Fall shows are no new inventions in the fashion world, but still, few years ago just a few houses presented them. But know? Almost everybody. Because fashion (the whole world actually) became so fast and people need the new things all the time that there’s no stop.
As I love nice things and new inspirations I love these shows too, but on the other hand I can’t imagine how stressful could be the whole process for the designers and their whole team. Also – and I’m not sure whether it’s a good thing – but now I cannot make difference between spring/summer and fall/winter collections or most of the collections for that matter.
I remember I noticed Ellery not so long ago at the Fall 2016 RTW Fashion Week so I’d say it’s a rather new brand in the world of high fashion, but here they are presenting the next one, a pre-summer one (in summer).
Anyways, I quite liked that collection and I like this one too. It reminds bit of Celine actually with it’s clean but weird lines and cuts and the fugly sandals but yet again I don’t mind it as I (usually) love Celine too. I also adore the frills, the simple ankle boots, the visible stitching and the extra long sleeves. There’s nothing new here but it’s still nice. And the vibrant fuchsia wall is still a good choice. So it is the model’s short wavy hair.
