May is coming to its end but good weather is constantly on and off. I wouldn’t have thought so, but this houndstooth blazer just came out from my wardrobe in order to take some pictures along with my loafers and new vintage Levi’s 501. I think they’re just match made in heaven. 🙂
I’m not uppish, I swear I just think this way. I also think I could get away with it on a casual Friday too. But lets see everything on order.
This blazer is from Zara’s previous fall collection and you can remember (at least a part of it) from this post where I wore it on the blog for the first time. And now you can see more of it. It was quite the love at first sight but I was hesitating about buying it for a while because it was so not me. Neither the color nor the print.
But I couldn’t get it out of my head and finally had to give in. And turned out I love it as it has all the right details with the nice cut and material, the longer fit and the ruched sleeves. And maybe I prefer black over any kind of browns, it just suits my pale complexion more. I think it’ll remain a classic piece in my wardrobe for a long time and also proves once again that it’s possible to find really good pieces in Zara even though it seems a rarity these days. 🙁
The Levi’s is via eBay again, from my favorite vintage seller, where I got the light blue and wider fit Levi’s from. He (thevintagemasters if you’re interested :)) has all the good stuff with all the important sizes and colors and delivers really fast.
I used to have a thing for jeans with light blue color but now something has changed and I prefer darker but still faded colors, and well, these ones perfectly fit the bill. The length is not bad either, at least I don’t think I’ll crop them shorter. I rather wear them like here on the pictures, folded back twice.
I put on my large belt from TopShop, my recent favorite loafers from Office Shoes, a simple grey tee from &Other Stories and my textile tote for a touch of summer. 🙂
Again, I love how this look turned out and can’t wait to style the red loafers as well. 🙂

It’s Friday, yeyy, and what’s even better that it’s long weekend! I don’t know what we’ll do yet but I bet it’ll include a lot of chilling. Hope you’ll enjoy it too!
