So, I might lie a bit but now I’m officially correcting myself: not Zara’s collection is the last in the line of my summer collection posts. I’ve just checked H&M’s and here we are with this post. I admit that sometimes I forget about checking its huge collection which is a shame as there could be found really good things too.
Also if you haven’t heard it before, the next designer collaborator is the French fashion house Kenzo and the collection will be available on the 3rd of November. Are you excited? I’m not so much because although I’m curious about these collections, I won’t pay that not-so-small amount of money for them just because of the designer label and I won’t be there at the opening for sure. I mean I don’t miss that chaos at all.
But back to the current collection. Maybe I’m going out on a limb here with selecting these specific items, which rather moved my fantasy than reflect my style, but you’ll see in a bit what I’m thinking. What doesn’t change though, that I have 10 items and 10 outfits to go. Lets see them.
See? Colors. A long red gilet and a shorter but pink blazer! Pink! Actually I never wear pink as I think it’s way too girly for me, but there’s something in this light shade and this cut together. Not to mention the possibilities which can be created with it.
Arriving to calmer waters I picked out simple neutral tees, one plain white and a black striped one which go with everything.
The matching trousers for that previous pink blazer and a really similar pleated culottes to that Zara ones. I just like airy pleats at the moment even if they’re polyester.
Simple black leather espadrilles for casual outfits and a pair of fiery red pumps for more elegant ones or just because you’re feeling them. 🙂
Sunnies with tortoiseshell print and the best summer jute tote what I’ve seen in this affordable price range. Definitely worth to check it out.
You can call this the Gucci effect again, but there’s something with vivid red and pale pink what go so well together. Especially if this mix includes some black and/or white as well. Not to mention black, white and red which is a cool but never boring, quiet classic combination.
Do you like these pairings too?
PS: and I won’t say this will be the last one anymore. Maybe there’ll be a next one too. We’ll see. 🙂 Oh, and if you missed out you can find my posts about Mango, Urban Outfitters, Topshop here and the Zara one above.
