When it’s come to dressing up, usually I totally look at my current mood. And the weather of course but that’s connected with my mood too. A rainy, windy, grey day that we had few days ago, just requires lot of black, a lot of energy to soak up.
See? Wasn’t kiddin’ with that windy weather.
But this time I didn’t mind it too much because at least I could wear these black Levi’s 501 again which are from my trusty eBay seller yet again. I swear he has all the perfect vintage Levi’s jeans. And apparently I keep buying them all.
I cropped the length to ankle high making them uneven, a bit longer at the back. Some well needed wash and ta-da, it was done. The length came out quite perfect this time which is still enough coverage and my shoes can be on full display too.
Because these newest loafers of mine are worth to show off. The black color goes with everything and they’re casual and comfy enough to wear at anytime but also elegant enough to wear them to a more formal event. Also what made them irresistible for me that’s the golden metal detail which kinda breaks the full black and gives them and the outfit a bit extra. What can I say? I love them!
And because summer is almost here (I mean according to the calendar, because there’s no much sign of it in the real life, duh), and I wanted to break the full black a little more, I took out my trusty summer bag which I bought some years ago. It’s from Mango and although I said Mango didn’t really pay attention to quality questions with ‘leather’ bags, its textile bags are pretty good. To be frank I washed this bag in the wash machine once (inside out, in a pillow case, with a gentle cycle) and there’s no sign of that, thank God.
I also put in my big golden Zara earrings to reflect the metal detail on my shoes and I was all set. I love how this outfit turned out, do you?
Leather jacket and tote – Mango, earrings – Zara, t-shirt – vintage, jeans – vintage Levi’s 501, loafers – Office Shoes
PS: How perfect would be this all black outfit with these shoes in vivid poppy red?
