Like most of the holidays, long weekends are about chilling, eating, drinking and even more eating. Ok, as we had some good weather too (finally!) this weekend included some walk and visiting a friend too.
But lets see it in order:
We discovered a Polish store not too far from us and we bought some quark and I made a cake from it. It looks kinda good from the outside but actually it got a bit too wet and started collapsing so I had to put it in a box where we could eat it out. Hehe. Mushu was of course curious too. 🙂
We ate many other things too, but when it comes to meals usually we’re so hungry that we don’t make pictures of it. But believe me we ate the most amazing Afghan and Lebanese dishes we have experienced in a while.
Yesterday as I said we visited one of our friend from Cork who also moved here in London. Of course he lives in the very other side of the city and we can always realise how big is London. But on the other side love discovering the different part of it and I have to give credit where credit is due, the view was absolutely stunning. There is a big park there and you can see from here the Thames too.
And the balconies are huge too. I always loved a big balcony and although we have one too it’s pretty windy most of the time so it’s not the best to sit, eat and drink outside. But I could get used to this balcony with this view. 🙂
This was our dinner and they tasted amazing. Actually I forgot to take a picture of the home made spinach bread but you can see the four cheese risotto and cheese cake with a jam kinda thing on it. We ate way too much which required some walking.
How good is that. I missing some more nature so much. We have this little canal next to our house which is amazing too but look at this picture. Sometimes you can almost forget that you’re in a metropolis.
We made a lot of outfit pictures too but more about those later.
How was your weekend?
