While I was writing about the basic wardrobe and tried to figure it out what basic means to me I got a feeling how much I love those basics. Which made me to do another bigger cleaning in my wardrobe and I have to say I feel myself much better. Because when I look inside I see those piece of clothing which I adore the most.
And by the way getting dressed becomes easier too. After some experimenting I’m back again to neutrals and clean lines which in this case means almost al black, skinny jeans, simple tee and a khaki green parka.
Also when you feel lack of energy, good old, black and most comfortable clothing is the ultimate solution. Like my pretty old moto skinnies (actually jeggings ;)) from C&A. They were one of my very first black skinnies and they’re still in good shape and I still love them. They have high cotton component, some stretch and those seems around the knees prevent the material to get loose on that area. And they also look cool. How genius!
Or like these Nike Roshe Runs which are one of the most comfiest shoes ever. Actually these were my work shoes for months so I had to buy full black, even though I prefer black&white shoes. Anyways, they look cool too and color doesn’t change their comfiness factor. 🙂
Or this parka. If you’ve been following me for a while you know how much I love khaki greens, so when I bought this parka last year, it was a no brainer. I like its fit, the longer length and the hoodie which is well, this time of year in England is a must have.
I wore a simple black tee and a bomber jacket on top, I put my mini tote across my body and it was fine for that rainy day. Sometimes this is all you need.
