There’s no better thing than wearing your beloved and exciting new things. Ok, maybe I can say a few more but this is definitely one of them. Interestingly enough I love buying things for the long term but it’s still good to wear new things as well.
I mean if I can call these jeans new because they’re obviously not. But definitely new for me. There’s something charming in vintage pieces and back in the time I was a big fan but then I rarely could find anything and I switched vintage to fast fashion.
However, lately as I’m pretty bored with fast fashion, and I still cannot afford designer items, I got new found love for vintage pieces and small or bigger markets. To bad I’m not familiar with London’s vintage treasure places but I think I’m on the best place to find these.
Back to my outfit. I cannot really imagine that I’d wear head to toe vintage but mixing and balancing is just my cup of tea. So here you have mixing old with new.
I wore my latest find, aka Levi’s 501 (I still cannot believe my luck), bomber jacket and some older suede slippers.
I’m always hesitating a lot about the length of my jeans. I don’t like either too long nor too short. But as somebody already cropped these jeans my problem is solved. I like wearing them like this cropped and folded back style. So probably I’ll do the same with the other pair.
I think we’re still so far away from t-shirt weather that I’ve started thinking seriously about investing in a trench coat again. I’m still not sure though. But hey, at least most of the time a jacket and t-shirt is enough and I can get away without socks. 🙂
And because I was so bored with my Zara bag I switched it for this one which I still love. However, I’ve my eyes on an other style too. For now I’m giving some days to think about it though, you know just in case.
You could already see these shoes in a previous post but it was the first time this year I wore them outside. I bought them over a year ago on sale and they’re really comfy, perfect for spring and summer and I love suede shoes the best. So well worth the buy.
