The other was really active as we took these outfit pictures and I made a well deserved shopping stroll as well. And meanwhile I documented everything what I tried on, maybe it will be useful for you too.
I started my stroll in H&M and for some reason I tried the most things here. Lately I’m not so fond of H&M except for these jeans which were a nice buy. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes if you look you can find good things here as well and mostly with a reasonable price but lately they don’t have things which I would be head over heels for.
Firstly I tried this black hoodie which is for 15 quid could be a great purchase. I didn’t buy it though. I like the black and white combo (as usual) but somehow I prefer to wear non black on top. However, I’m still hesitating a bit whether I should buy it. Maybe next time.
Shoes: On the left summery textile slip ons on the right hand side black suede granny shoes. I liked the sneakers but I have this love hate relationship with slip ons as they look cool but quite bulky at the same time. And as you know I still can’t make up my mind on granny chic pumps because they could’ve been perfect but I still don’t like the look on me.
Trench coat: I think if bought one I’d buy something similar to this one. It’s lightweight, the color is good (don’t like the pale ones) and I like the ties on the sleeves as well. But it was way too long as you can see. And if you’re wondering I tried size XS on.
I also saw some items from the H&M Conscious Exclusive Collection but as I suspected they weren’t so exquisite in real life like on the photos which is kinda sad.
Next stop was TopShop and I was mostly interested in the basement area but I mention it here that I saw the preparations of Beyonce’s Ivy Park Collection too which is selling athleiusre clothes if I’m not mistaking. If you’re interested it’s online already.
I was more interested in the shoes department though. I tried these yellow tie up shoes on and they were really nice. I wasn’t walking in them too much though so I’m not sure how walkable they are but they look cool and cheer up a whole outfit.
Some new ballerina shoes what I’ve never seen before. Well, this is a true bulletproof style if you want to buy some shoes for spring/summer. If I did’t have my eyes on something else I would consider these seriously (and maybe I will after a while :)).
Finally some nude sandals which seemed really comfortable. Too bad I don’t like this style on my foot. 🙁
Mango (and Zara too) has a new David Bowie collection and I think these were the best pieces from it. Namely a denim jacket and this white t-shirt.
And last but not least I tried on these patrol blue pumps with pointy toes too. As you can see they have a similar style to my Zara babouches but they have pretty walkable heels. My only problem was that the inside is from a really hard (plastic) material and because of this I’m not sure at all that they would be comfortable some day.
My original goal was to buy a summery top, some trendy shirt or off the shoulder top but I couldn’t find a similar thing which I loved and would’ve paid the price for it. So in the end I bought two items (and one of them is a top actually) which I’m gonna show you a bit later. 😉 Check back to see them.
