I cannot believe that March is coming to an end. I’ve just written my post about February and now I’m doing this. It’s interesting that we’re always waiting for something (holidays, payday or whatever…etc) but then we say everything happened so fast.
Anyway, I like to thank you again for your support, it means the world to me. Really, you’re amazing guys. 🙂 I did a bit of selection about what happened this month, hope you’ll enjoy it.
I found one of my denim a little bit boring so I had grabbed a blade and cheese grater and frayed the hems. I must say I’m pretty happy with the result. Started preparing for Easter with Sari the lamb and I found a quite cool frame which we’ve missed so far. I was celebrating St Patrick’s day with wearing green and recalling Irish memories.
The big decluttering which started in the middle of March is still on the go, but I’ll be finished soon. The frame in action, we choose the coolest photos about us (like from the very beginning and from our wedding).
And finally, Easter! We were strolling in the empty City visiting St Paul’s Cathedral and the Millennium Bridge and realising again how cool is London (when the sun is shining :)). And because of the sun wasn’t shining all along of course (it rained cats and dogs actually), we celebrated Easter inside, making my first ever fonott kalacs/plaited loaf and some carrot cake which turned out pretty good and vanished on the 3rd day (like Jesus, haha, 🙂 sorry, I just had to).
What I wore:
Jeans, jeans, jeans and even more jeans. I had enough of winter and started wearing spring pieces like bombers and babouches. After all March is the first month of spring, isn’t it? And finally I could bring out my leather jacket and Converse too, so be aware as they’ll be on constant rotation. 🙂 Anyway you can all of my looks in the ‘MYSTYLE‘ section. 🙂
What I bought:
Yes, more jeans. I found these Straight jeans in TopShop and I love them. However, I’m still thinking whether would be good if they had no stretch at all (they’ve 1% elastane). They’d look even cooler but probably they’d be more uncomfortable. Hmm… I bought in Topshop two hoodies as well and I’ve been wearing them constantly since then.
Then I have pretty new obsessions about socks, from glitter to fishnet ones so I bought a few pairs of them to give a bit of extra to my outfits. I couldn’t wear the fishnet socks though but it’ll happen very soon!
And of course I couldn’t resist this 80s style silver earrings from Zara which are rather nice than practical (as they’re pretty heavy) but like them nonetheless. And finally my biggest investment in this month, my beloved blue suede bag via &Other Stories which I put down if it’s really doesn’t suit my outfit. Then can come the black one. 😀
2016 fall/winter PFW:
Fashion week came to an end. There were some highlights and some disappointments too but overall it was cool like always. You can read my summery of it here.
Reviewing spring trends:
