Two days ago the whether was spectacular so we grabbed our chance to wander a bit in the City. That day’s goal was to visit St Paul’s Cathedral, to walk through Millennium Bridge and check the Globe. But I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. 🙂
When the sun is shining so brightly I always want to wear something light in colors and fabrics too. Well… I wasn’t too successful, and although I wore my bleach hue jeans and a light blue – white stripy shirt (which you can’t see well) I was a bit afraid of chilly weather so I put on a jumper as well and as I’m short of white, not chunky jumpers I wore this navy one (which I have in red as well).
Also I didn’t have luck with shoes because one of them break my heels (as usual) and I had to wear boots. Bummer! 🙁 Nevertheless, I enjoyed the good weather and the exquisite view. And finally, spring is here! 🙂
So you can see the Globe and the Shard from here. Well, of course you can see the Shard almost from everywhere in London but you get my point. 🙂
Millennium Bridge with the Cathedral.
Typical London view with derricks everywhere.
I love the structure of the bridge, especially from this angle.
Our trip was better than ever because the city got completely empty. Really, I’ve never seen London so empty so far. It was almost shocking but in a very good way. 🙂
