I’m not sure what’s with me and socks lately but it feels like why on earth didn’t I do this before? After all, they’re practical and fun at the same time. So it seems now I making up for what I’ve missed so far but I rather spent money on pretty cheap socks than anything else. Am I right? Right.
With my new jeans from TopShop.
So my latest purchase are these fishnet socks from ASOS. Actually I ordered a pair of blue Farleigh jeans and a jumper as well but I ended up returning those. I keep these socks however, which feel for me like in the Hungarian tale when the cunning but wise king gives riddles to the clever girl of the simple people. One of the riddle is about to wear and bring something but wear and bring nothing at the same time*. Well, I get the exact same feelings from these socks as they are there but not there at the very same time. 🙂
I can’t decide whether I love it more with these slipons or loafers but I think I’m gonna wear them with both and maybe more.
So what do you think? Do you like them too?
Jumper – Louche, jeans and slipons – TopShop, loafers – Vagabond, fishnet socks – ASOS
*Oh, if you’re interested how the clever girl solved the riddle I’ll tell you. She had sewn a dress from fishnet (you see?) so she wore something but nothing. And she had taken a pigeon between two sieves to give it to the king but she opened the sieves letting the bird free before the king could get it, so he got something but nothing at the same time. The End. If you don’t believe it, go after it. 🙂
See? Another pearl from Hungarian culture. It’s totally worth to read this blog, isn’t it? Hehe 🙂
