I love straight and mom jeans, you know I do but as I wrote about it yesterday sometimes it’s good to wear something else too. Especially if that item suits you so well like these Jamie jeans from TopShop.
Actually I made the rips so they’re a bit more interesting. 🙂
As we don’t have TopShop in Hungary (moreover, in whole Eastern Europe – yeah, I know it’s sad, so TopShop please do something about it) and I didn’t want to risk the whole online procedure, I never had anything from there and I didn’t really have the chance to buy something either.
But after we moved to Ireland last year, it changed. Cork has a TopShop, not the biggest one but it was a big step for me. And then I bought my very first Jamie jeans in plain black (actually I wanted washed black but they didn’t have those).
These ones were those very first Jamie jeans.
I adore the fit (I have to size up), the high waist and the cropped length. I think these are the best really fitted skinnies I’ve ever tried on and if I wanted to buy new ones (in new color) I should definitely would go to TopShop.
But well, I won’t for a while that’s sure as I have more jeans than probably I need. Speaking of this. Did you know the average woman has 7 pairs of jeans? One for every day I guess. Hehe. Well… I have 15. 10 straight/mom/boyfriend jeans and 5 skinnies. Do I need all of these? No, I guess I don’t, but I like diversity and truth to be told I don’t have any skirts, jumpsuits and dresses. At all. I don’t like them, so I think it’s fine.
I wore them with my new hoodie, leather jacket and Acne Jensen boots.
Case in point: skinnies are not dead yet, they’re just a bit ripped. 🙂 Do you have Jamie jeans too? And do you feel the same about them? 🙂
Leather jacket – Mango, hoodie and skinnies – TopShop, boots – Acne Studios
