I think I told you before that I got serious inspiration dose from everything Vetements and overall Mr. Gvasalia does probably because his bittersweet toned down but equally cool nonchalant looks are just right up my alley. And seriously, for this feeling all you need is some heavy high waisted straight jeans and a hoodie or tracksuit.Yeah really, that’s it.
Ok, I admit it’s not the easiest task to find the perfect jeans. It takes lot of time, energy and patience. But eventually all of these efforts pay off. You’ll now what you’re looking for and somebody will do them. Sooner or later but they’ll do.
I think I found them. First of all there are my Topshop straight jeans which I love and then I have these ASOS Farleigh jeans which have extra high waist, cropped length, not to tight not to lose fit, heavy material and pretty high cotton (98%) composition. And there’s the color. I love this faded black (almost greyish) color and prefer it over plain black any day.
And the jumper. I bought it a few months ago mainly because I loved the burgundy-maroon color and the Copenhagen label on the front (as I love everything Scandinavian). I think it’s not available anymore but there is one similar white hoodie with Stockholm label on it. I’d have bought it if I liked the white color but somehow I prefer the grey ones.
Maybe you can’t see it properly but I put on a turtleneck under the jumper as I wanted to wear my leather jacket again which is a perfect finish for this look. So are the boots which have the perfect not too high not too low blocky heels and round toes.
And the icing on the cake of course is my beloved bag from &Other Stories which is on high rotation (with the blue one) at the moment.
Leather jacket – Mango, jumper and boots – Topshop, jeans – ASOS, turtleneck – Zara, bag – &Other Stories
I hope you have a fabulous weekend.
