However, those wintery inspirations won’t be wasted at all as we can see the directions what fashion will take and trendy gals could show us already what should we wear mixing winter and spring wear. And to be frank, I don’t make too big difference clothing wise either. I mean sure, everybody has pieces which can be worn only in summer or winter but the basics should be the same more or less. And since I’ve been living here in the UK, where there’s no thing like proper summer (sorry, but it’s true compared to Hungary for example) I can enjoy dressing without thinking it’s so boiling hot, I cannot bear anything on my skin.
So having watched the newest fashion shows we can say trends won’t turn 180 degree say at least and we can use most of our pieces like bombers, trenches, hoodies and vintage (look like) jeans. Or we can buy some trendy accessories to freshen up our looks a bit. And if this weren’t be enough, there is the biggest truth. We don’t have to accept all these trends (especially not all of them at the very same time) or we can totally ignore them too if they don’t compliment our style.
So you can wear whatever floats your boat just be a bit conscious. And for to be so here you have my favorite looks from spring/summer 2016 fashion week.
Wide leg pants, bombers, suede, silver and white leather bags.
Slip dresses, Cinched waist, lot of black, white and a pinch of red.
White leg pants, anything short, natural fabrics, citrus colors with black and white.
Black and white, with uneven hems, fishnet and mesh.
More black and white, floral prints, long sleeves, slits, leather and denim.
Hoodies, vintage look-a-like jeans, socks and sockboots, long sleeves, denim and leather.
Tracksuits, sweatpants, cold shoulders, pastel and vivid colors.
Polo shirts, cold shoulders, wide legs, stripes, black, white and vivid colors, denim.
Soft and bright colors, prints, pleats, sheer fabrics, platform shoes and loafers.
Loose, oversized everything, big jewelry, neutrals with vibrant primary colors.
So as you can see a lot of neutrals mixed with some colors or silver, slip dresses, polo necks, cold shoulders, straight or wide leg pants (jeans!), hoodies and tracksuits, bombers, socks, pointy flats, loafers, ankle booties, leather, suede, denim and linen.
Conclusion for me? Most of these things I already have in my closet so it won’t be so hard to dress up nicely but maybe I’ll invest in some nice accessories like some silver or red something. Of course if I buy something new you’ll be the first to know. 🙂
