After having published all of those fashion shows and digesting trends back and forth, I have a pretty complete picture in my mind. The most interesting thing was that I somewhat got disappointed by some of my favorite, trusty fashion houses but I felt excited by new designers, smaller brands and those big names which I haven’t adored before. Maybe that’s me changing but I must say is pretty exciting.
I said before that my most favorite fashion shows took place in Paris, and the least favorites in Milan (while New York an London were equally on the second place). I think my big obsession over minimalist trends could take a big part in my priorities and now as we are moving towards maximalism, this order has slightly changed too. My favorite is still Paris but now the second is Milan and then the rest.
And this explains quite a lot. As I’ve started to appreciate more difficult looks, Milan got a better place on my imaginary echelon and Paris is still in its place as I even more appreciate simple and practical but somewhat edgy clothing. So this is how things are changing and evolving around and inside me. And this feels soooo good. 🙂
But back to the point. After some consideration I made 5 categories from bit disappointed to mind blowingly good. And don’t get me wrong, I quite like everything what’s here (that’s why they ended here after all). I’m just not fully satisfied, probably because my expectations are so high towards them. You know when you make something genius what becomes a standard. 🙁 Anyway, lets say this is an Andi’s inspirations post. 🙂 Ok? Ok.
So here you have my categories (based on my own personal taste):
5, Nice, but I’m still missing something:
Celine, Burberry, Mulberry, Louis Vuitton, Altewai Samoe, Acne Studios
4, Credit is given where credit is due:
Miu Miu, Carven, JW Anderson, Rag&Bone, Victoria Beckham, Ellery, Salvatore Ferragamo, J.Mendel
3, Beautiful collections that have everything to please:
Kenzo, Emilio Pucci, Stella McCartney, Loewe, Valentino, Proenza Schouler, Cedric Charlier, Ports 1961
2, I’m still in shock/awe how good were these:
Dagmar, Whyred, DSquared2, Off-white, Simon Miller, Joseph, Prada
1, And… my absolute favorites. I tried to narrow it down but this is the best I could do. I was thinking a lot why these and I think because they had the biggest impact in my mind. So maybe these are not the nicest and finest clothes and I won’t dress exactly like this but I have serious influence for sure.
Marni, Jacquemus, Vetements, Balanciaga, Esteban Cortazar
Nonchalant looks, feminine nonchalant looks and sporty nonchalant looks with weird colors and neutrals for me please. And jeans, a lot of jeans. Did I mention how much I love jeans? 🙂
And what’s your favorite(s)? Do you feel some changes too or it’s just me?

PS: I promise this is my last fall/winter fashion week post for now. Next station is spring. 🙂 Maybe the weather will agree soon too. I hope you enjoyed these little guidelines or -even better – found them inspirational and useful.
