At least the best trends for me. Those things which instantly caught my eyes and wanna wear in the near future. Hope you’ll like it too.
1, Sporty chic: Or should we call it the Vetements effect? I think this is the strongest trend of all as you could see it almost every runway. So everything sporty will be trendy like bombers, sweatpants, tracksuits, big puffa coats or sneakers. You can wear it with other casual things or more elegant/feminine pieces. The point is wearing everything casual, practical and nonchalant at it’s best.
Off-White, Simon Miller, Louis Vuitton, Stella McCartney, Balenciaga, Vetements, Acne Studios, Carven, Cedric Charlier, Prada, Marni, Rag&Bone
2, Cinched waist: Another really strong and covetable trend. After looser fits there is time again to show those womanly figures. You can put a fitted coat, a corset or a bustier or a belt on it, or better all of these things at the very same time. It’ll be huge. And why wouldn’t we agree with it?
DSquared2, Miu Miu, Valentino, Celine, Balenciaga, Acne Studios, Loewe, Salvatore Ferragamo, Marni, Prada, J.Mendel, Proenza Schouler
3, Accentuated shoulders: Show it, show them, accentuate one or both of them with cut outs, extra texture or material or just slip your coat off them. Shape wise, beside cinched waist this trend will be big too.
Off-white, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Stella McCartney, Balenciaga, Acne Studios, Jacquemus, Marni, JW Anderson, Rag&Bone, J.Mendel, Victoria Beckham
4, Extra long sleeves: Maybe not the best for eating or writing or dialing or any activities in life but again fashion is not about practicality. But at least your fingers won’t freeze. 🙂
Esteban Cortazar, Ellery, Off-White, Kenzo, Balenciaga, Vetements, Acne Studios, Cedric Charlier, Ports 1961, Emilio Pucci, Joseph, Rag&Bone
5, Wide leg pants: Yes, as I told you before I have a love/hate relationship with wide legs as I’m pretty short and way more practical than that (the heel problem) but usually fashion is not about practicality, although wide leg pants are comfortable. Anyways, if you love them, wear them (maybe I’ll wear them too). 🙂
Esteban Cortazar, Ellery, Off-White, Stella McCartney, Celine, Balenciaga, Cedric Charlier, Ports 1961, Jacquemus, Marni, Proenza Schouler, Rag&Bone
6, Leather and patent leather everything: from pants to jackets you can’t miss with anything leather on you. Just keep balance and wear with other fabrics like knits, denim or anything else. Note, that yummy and strange brown leather will be on trend too but more about that later. 🙂
Esteban Cortazar, Ellery, Zadig&Voltaire, Simon Miller, Kenzo, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Loewe, Carven, JW Anderson, Proenza Schouler, Whyred
7, Denim, denim, denim: this is part of the true nonchalant feeling. You can wear it with other denim things or anything else really. Just built it in your sporty or more elegant outfits and you’ll be the coolest kid in the block.
Esteban Cortazar, Off-White, Simon Miller, DSquared2, Kenzo, Miu Miu, Stella McCartney, Balenciaga, Vetements, Rag&Bone
8, Socks, stockings and leggings: Ok, I’m sold anyway and it seems this trend is going nowhere. And actually this is a really good thing as nothing could be practical in chilly day than a pair of tights or socks. Oh, and did I mention you can wear them with any type of shoes? Yes, really, if you dare. Do you?
DSquared2, Off-White, Simon Miller, Miu Miu, Valentino, Vetements, Acne Studios, Loewe, Prada, Burberry , Dagmar
9, Weird colors and color combos: And I mean every hues of brown paired with every hues of blue and some yellow. Ok, maybe it just weird for me but I’ve never ever thought yellows, browns and blue cans look cool together especially because I used to hate brown in every hue. But things are changing, 70s came, won, conquered and it seems we’ll have a bit twisted, muted form of it on our clothes. Most eye catching trend for me for sure.

10, Military green: if you want a not so obvious neutral military green and khaki is here to stay. You can wear it as a coat, a bomber or a pair of cargo pants, you can’t go wrong with this.
DSquared2, Marni, Prada, Mulberry, Burberry, Dagmar, Rag&Bone, Altewai Samoe
11, Pop of red: it could be a pair of gloves, a handbag or an oversized coat, you can add a pop of bright red to your look and you won’t be unnoticed. It always does the trick.
DSquared2, Off-White, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, Celine, Balanciaga, Vetements, Marni, Prada, Emilio Pucci, J.Mendel, Proenza Schouler
12, Checks: yeah, you could say check for fall? Groundbreaking. Ok, it’s not but why change when it works so nicely? Especially with those strange browns. 🙂
Miu Miu, Balenciaga, Vetements, Jacquemus, Prada, Burberry, Rag&Bone, Victoria Beckham, Dagmar, Whyred
13, Ruffles, frills and pleats: Well… I think this is my least favorite trend but… what the heck designers seem to love it and maybe so do you guys (I’m fine with it too, just I love the others more :)), so I made a selection of these too.
Off-White, Ellery, Valentino, Stella McCartney, Celine, Balenciaga, Loewe, Salvatore Ferragamo, Joseph, Mulberry, JW Anderson, Proenza Schouler
+1, neutrals, neutrals, neutrals: ok this is not really a trend as it’s a true classic which you can never go wrong with but the point is exactly this. You can wear black, white and the whole spectrum of beiges and greys and you can be the most stylish of all.
Ellery, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Celine, Balenciaga, Acne Studios, Loewe, Cedric Charlier, JW Anderson, Ports 1961, J.Mendel, Proenza Schouler
So I didn’t think it would take for so long to make this list but I’m happy as I think every important is here and could be used later as a guid line. What do you think? Is there anything which you’re obsessed over? Let me know. 🙂
