Usually I’m not a Valentino type of girl but then again you have to give credit where credit is due. On one hand Valentino’s dresses are beautifully made and spectacular on the other hand I really like when somebody’s not afraid to toughen up an otherwise soft look. And here we have a lot of softness with knits, shiny plates, stockings, nude tones, ballerina shoes and tutus as the main inspiration was ballet.
The first looks were quite dark with a lot of black but not boring at all because of the different layers and materials. After these dark looks came all of the ballet nude with nice details and even nicer cuts and materials. I love the leotard inspired tops, leather skirts, the chunky knit wears under ballet dresses, all of the shoes with the stockings and leggings and the small cross body bags too.
Thoughtful, covetable and wearable. What else do we need? Very nice collection, very nice indeed.
