I have this post where I already wrote about my newest purchase but I’m so in love with them that I had to write their own post. 🙂
At this point maybe you noticed that I have a thing for shoes. I cannot deny that. My greatest obsessions are bags and shoes (ok, and jeans). I don’t know why but if I see a pair what suits me in every sense I cannot resist. But it could be worse I guess. I mean, jeans and shoes fall into that category which well worth the price if you truly love them, because you can wear these items day after day without strange faces looking at you. But maybe that’s just self-justification. 🙂 After all who cares?
I could blame Celine here again but I won’t. Phoebe Philo is a genius and that’s not her fault. Pictures of proof here. Lets swoon.
As I told you before it’s good thing to wait a bit before you strike on something. You know, just let it settle a bit. This short period of time was just fine. Although I know quite good my style and my bugs, sometimes I make mistakes.
But there’s no mistake now, I can feel it. (Ok, they could be unbearably uncomfortable, don’t think so but will see). Why do I think this? Lets see.
- First of all they’re black. I love black because that means I could wear them with (almost) everything without too much brain work. On lazy days you know. Also I have this thing with wearing certain shoes with certain clothes and I think I can wear these ones with anything really.
- Secondly they’re flat so I can walk in them. Thirdly they have pointy toes with this V shaped cleavage which can do the optical trick to elongate my legs (well my feet too but that’s an other story).
- And last but not least I can feel them (not like what happened with granny shoes, see mistakes above). They’re clean, edgy and a bit
uglyweird. And those things are usually just right up my alley.
I also checked few times those Mango sling backs and as impatient I could be, I didn’t buy those but waited for these. I’m proud of myself.
Anyway here you have some photos.
I cannot wait to wear these outside. Spring where are you?
