After Zara spring collection I decided to explore the other big Spanish brand Mango. In my eyes Mango is very similar to Zara as both of them… hmm… get inspiration from big designer brands but maybe Mango does that a bit less conspicuous way. There could be debates whether that’s a good thing for them but it’s definitely good for us because they collection is a bid different. It’s not groundbreakingly different as they have all the essentials and newest hits but lets say different enough. If you’d like to freshen up your closet (and you always surprise how many Zara items you have..bah) it could worth the shot.
After this short (but really scientific :)) introductory, lets see the bear. (Sorry, that’s an other Hungarian saying, they just keep pop into my mind. Maybe you have something similar in English? Let me know. Thanks)
I picked 18 items again but the picking method was a bit different this time as Mango’s nicest things are the more interesting ones over the basics ones (for me at least). And I think that’s why it’s easier to buy everything in Zara (I know I have a problem :)). While I was browsing on their website, I had to step out from my style comfort zone a bit to select those things which are nice and I could wear them too.
It wasn’t easy to select good quality things either because for example they don’t really have leather bags. That’s a shame, a bigger selection would be nice as the shapes and colours are quite good.
But that’s enough wining, lets see the outfits.
For conclusion I have to say this was quite exiting. Although it wasn’t easy to pick up the pieces, making outfits from them was pretty fun. Maybe Mango has less basic must haves than Zara, but they have nice things which can add that little spice what you need to make interesting outfits.
